YOU

After a while, I finally decided to continue with my blogging (Yeay!).

The reason I hesitate to blog is because I always felt insecure in sharing my stories to a lot of people. But now, I think it is not about afraid of my privacy being invaded, but blogging is all about how my stories can create impact to the society. Hence, this new kind of thinking brought me back to writing and I enjoy this so much. Feeling able to express oneself openly without judgment like this is the best remedy for stress and lack of confidence. 
People only need to be listened and I think this is what our society lacks of. They tend to judge first rather than to understand what others are thinking and branding people as if they are just an item. Sadly, this kind of tradition keeps on happening and we can't really change it or stop it. So, the only solution to be perceived greatly by the society, we need to have value. And some people lost that value because they don't value themselves. 

Society is cruel.

They expect you to be like what is seen in the MEDIA.

WHERE IT IS NOT ACTUALLY NECESSARY

The key for you to have self-confident. Not that self-confident can bring acceptance from the society, but at least self-confident can help you to defence yourself from over stress and to the some extent can be a S.U.C.I.D.E.

Yes, the sense of worthless is SCARY. 
So here are some tips to increase you sense of worth:

1. Be grateful
For me, this is the most important thing. No matter what happen to you that day, keep being grateful. 
There are lots of lots of people can't afford cell phone or maybe textbook. They need to work like a bull in order to attend college or high school. Some people don't have any shelter to live in and some people might not as good as you. 
Don't think about people who is better than you, but always look down to the people who suffer more. Always think that God has given you life it is enough for you to give thanks to Him. 
So, writing a list of things you are thankful everyday can be really helpful. Maybe you can start by ten than you can increase it into twenty lists. No matter how small it is, you must write it. Even it is as simple as 'I got to eat sandwich today', you must still say thank you. It is a miracle to be able to enjoy your breakfast whereas some people can't.

2. Think Positive
If you keep on comparing yourself with others and think what you are doing is bad then you are totally wrong. You supposed to think yourself as a superior being and you must not think badly about yourself. If you are faced with problems, you should not see that problem as an obstacle. You can think it as one of God's way in achieving your dream. Maybe you can't pay for your rent or you can't score good in your exam today. But believe that one day you can do better and there are still many chances for you. The world won't extinct tomorrow and you should not worry about that. I know it feel suffocating when you see one of friends get a better grade or have a better lifestyle than you. Hey, what they have is only temporary. Their lifestyle and their grades can keep on changing, you should not be afraid about that. Don't be too focused on others, but focusing more on yourself can result a positive attitude.
Start reading a self-help book. It is also a great motivation. I always recommend the book 'Secret' by Rhonda Byrne for building a positive attitude. And if you had read it and had no impact in your life, don't give up. C'mon there are a lot of videos and other books about thinking positive. And  also surround yourself with people who give positivity to your life. When you do that, you can start seeing the world in the different point of view. 

3. List Down Your Strength and Weakness
Okay, so listing is one of the most important activity in getting a better you.  Many self-help book give the solution by listing you strength and weakness to be able to know better who you are. I'm not telling you to think negatively when you list down all your weakness. But I want you to learn to be honest to yourself and accept who you are.
If you can't accept yourself then how others can accept you?
So, if you had list down all of them, you can start see the potential in you and improve them. But for your weakness you can try to minimise them. You won't be happy if other see more of your weakness rather than strength right? 
By listing down it, it is also easier of you to make a road map on what can you do to improve yourself and accept yourself.

4. Doing What You Are Passionate
After knowing your potential, you should improve that part of you by exploring it more. If you love to write like me, then blogging can become one step of being confident. Or if you love music, start doing covers in Youtube. Don't be afraid even though it can be frightening in the beginning, but believe me, after doing it for a few times you will feel more relaxed and better. It is the same for me when I have to do public speaking. For me it is the most frightening moment when you have to stand in the front and all the attention is on you. But, slowly I overcame that fear and speaking in public become so natural for me. 
And do you know that people who are passionate in what they are doing is very attractive. So don't be ashamed! God has given you amazing talents and you should not waste it! There is NO people who have no talents. They just haven't discovered it yet. 

5. Pray
Believe it or not, pray is the most effective way in making yourself confident. Yes, maybe it looks nothing to you at the moment or maybe you feel nothing has changes. But you will feel it slowly. I have always pray that I can become the better version of me and become more confident. And I don't know when it started, but I started to accept myself and see me as someone worthy. Believing in Him is one way of achieving that self-worth and you should have faith!

6. Face the Mirror Every Morning and Say "I Am Great, I'm Beautiful and I'm Gonna Success"
Don't take this chant lightly. I like to do this when I feel down and it actually works. By looking yourself on the mirror, you will see yourself and you have to imagine yourself being great person in the future. And by doing this, you can start your day with a positive attitude. Starting your day with positive attitude can eventually resulted for a better you and you will see yourself improving each day. 

7. Imagine Yourself As Someone Great
Some says that you should face the reality and enough of dreaming. 
That's so not true.
Do you know that every successful person start their day by imagining themselves being great figure one day and they start to create a map in their mind to achieve that dream. Because there is never a dream too big for you to achieve it. As long as you work hard and you know what are the things you need to do to achieve it, then you ain't lost. You are going to be big. 

Believe it, guys. Cause no one is really too dumb or too bad in anything. I used to have no self-confidence, especially when I saw the clique or the popular girls hanging out while I was only an observer whom stayed at the corner of the room. I always cried because I felt myself so worthless, until one day I changed the way I think. I started to look for the positive in me and I started to love myself as I am. I'm still lack in many ways, but it's okay. I can always change and be a better me since I treated myself not as an item. I treat myself as invaluable creature created by the Mighty God.
